Now ranked as the second-highest wicket-taker among Associate nations after Bilal Khan, Karan KC’s “Hulk-like” presence and consistency continue to make him a standout figure in Nepali cricket.
Since then, Karan has transformed into a key pillar of the national team, known for his fierce pace, lower-order hitting, and unshakeable temperament in crunch moments.
In ODIs, Karan has played 60 matches, capturing 85 wickets at an average of ~26.0 and an economy of 5.14. He has also scored 554 runs, often rescuing innings with impactful cameos, including a personal best of 65*, at a strike rate nearing 92. His contributions with both bat and ball make him one of the most dependable players in pressure situations.
In T20Is, Karan has been even more dominant—with 103 wickets in 80 matches at an average of 20.3 and an economy of 7.84. His explosive 457 runs at a strike rate of 153 further demonstrate his value as a lower-order finisher.
During the June 2025 ICC CWC League 2 tri-series, Karan starred with figures of 2/35 against the Netherlands and 2/74 against Scotland, where he earned the Player of the Match award for sealing a thrilling last-ball victory.
