The NOC Award 2024 will take place at Hotel Aloft, Chaya Center in Kathmandu, bringing together prominent figures from the sports community, including national athletes, coaches, sports officials, and dignitaries. This year’s award ceremony promises to be a memorable occasion, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship and excellence that aligns with the core values of the Olympic movement.

As the world warms up for Paris 2024, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has launched the Let’s Move and Celebrate initiative, created in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), to inspire and encourage people to embrace the joy of movement for better health. The NOC Award 2024 aims to highlight the significance of this theme by acknowledging the dedication, hard work, and achievements of those who have contributed to the advancement of sports in Nepal emphasizing the importance of physical activity and community celebration.
The President of the Nepal Olympic Committee, Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “The NOC Award 2024 is an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable talents and efforts of our sports community. It is through their perseverance and commitment that Nepal continues to shine on the global sports stage.”
Mr. Gopal Sunder Lal Kakshapati, Chair of the NOC Award Committee, added, “We are thrilled to host the NOC Award 2024 on International Olympic Day. This event not only honors our sports journalists, athletes and coaches but also reinforces the importance of sports in fostering unity, discipline, and excellence in our society. We look forward to recognizing and celebrating the exceptional contributions of our sports community.”
The winners of NOC award 2024 will be awarded with Rs. 50,000 (fifty thousand only) along with a finely crafted award.
