‘Anders’ won the ‘3rd Himalayan Extreme Triathlon’

Pokhara Sports/ Norwegian athlete Anders Longset has won the third edition of the Himalayan Extreme Triathlon held in Pokhara.

Anders took 16 hours, 23 minutes and 26 seconds to complete the Race, which is considered to be the toughest route in the world for the extreme triathlon. He took a total of 6 hours 33 minutes 41 seconds to complete the 175 km cycling included in the competition.

Similarly, Ruslan Erzhanov from Kazakhstan has been second on the men’s side. He took 16 hours 47 minutes 44 seconds to complete the Race, while Galym Chuashev of the same country completed the race in a total time of 18 hours 37 minutes 05 seconds and got the third place.

Similarly, on the women’s side, Anastasila Baranova, the only athlete from Kyrgyzstan, completed the race. She took a total time of 18 hours 56 minutes 31 seconds.

36 participants from 25 countries were participated in the event, as stated by Race Director Rikesh Yonjan.
