Pokhara-25, July / Nepal Olympic Committee organized a felicitation program to the newly appointed Member Secretary Mr. Ramesh Kumar Silwal in NOC building today. Mr. Silwal was appointed as the member Secretary of National Sports Council on 8th July, 2019.
NOC also welcomed Mr. Pitamber Timalsina who was appointed as Vice Chairman of NSC 7 month ago. On behalf of NOC Nepal the president of NOC Hon’ble Jeevan Ram Shrestha has welcomed to Member Secretary Mr Ramesh Silwal by offering garland and token of love.
All the Members of NOC and Representatives of Associations felicitated Member Secretary Mr. Silwal by giving a garland. The Vice-Chairman Mr. Timalsina gave his best wishes for the upcoming tenure of Member Secretary Mr. Silwal.
In the program Member Secretary of NSC Mr. Silwal said that he will try his best to unite all the conflicted Associations and he will make sure that South Asian Games will be in time.
President of NOC/ Member of Parliament Honorable Jeevan Ram Shrestha concluded the program by giving best wishes for a successful tenure of Member Secretary and said that he is impressed by Mr. Silwal’s dynamism. Honorable Shrestha also added that NOC and NSC will work hand in hand for any future projects which will help in the development of the sports.
The Vice- President of NOC Mr. Purendra Bikram Lakhe had delivered welcome speech and Deputy Secretary General of NOC Mr. Rajiv Shrestha was MC of the the program.
