Pokhara, 16 April / President of NOC/ Member of Parliament Jeevan Ram Shrestha bade farewell to 8 participants of All Nepal Table Tennis Association, participating in Liebherr 2019 World Table Tennis Championship slated at Budapest from 21-28 April 2019.
Table tennis players Binesh Khaniya, Santoo Shrestha, Nabita Shrestha, Deekshya Tamang, Swechchha Nembang, and Sunil Shrestha are participating in the event.
Chaturananda Raj Vaidya, president of All Nepal Table Tennis Association along with vice president, Dharmaman Bajracharya is also moving to Budapest with the team.
In the program, president Shrestha gave his best wishes to the participants and told the players to maintain their determination as there are many challenges ahead and a lot of competitions. He also suggested using this experience in a positive way and learning from this event.
Speaking in the program, president of All Nepal Table Tennis Association, Chaturananda Raj Vaidya said that this event will help the table tennis team in the upcoming South Asian Games. In the program chair-person of Medical Commission of NOC Dr. Saroj Krishna Shrestha was also present.
