Japanese businessman ‘Mr. Awa Ryota’ Felicitated

Pokhara Sports/ Japanese businessmen have started showing interest in the development of Nepali sports.

Similarly, Mr. Awa Ryota, the chairman of ‘Plenty Company’ based in Okinawa, Japan, expressed his interest in Nepali sports. He traveled to Nepal for the conclusion of the ‘KP Oli Cup Championship 2024,’ organized by the National Youth Association of Nepal. According to Mr. Sampanna Shrestha, the chief of the Youth Association Sports Department, Mr. Ryota exhibited a strong passion for Nepali sports during his visit.

Shrestha, in conversation with Pokhara Sports, emphasized Mr. Ryota’s commendable interest in Nepali sports, underscoring his recognition at the closing ceremony. He commented, “His genuine passion for Nepali sports is inspiring. We honored him at the ceremony to commend his sincere dedication to our sports development.”

Japanese businessman Mr. Ryota visited Nepal at the invitation of the National Youth Association of Nepal. Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli honored him at the closing ceremony.

Shrestha mentioned that Mr. Ryota will collaborate in future Nepali sports development efforts and endeavor to bring Japanese athletes to participate in competitions held in Nepal.
