Two well known opponents’ national teams Shivam New Diamond and Tribhuvan Army Club are challenging each other in the inaugural day of the ‘Lamachaur Teej Festival and National Women’s volleyball Championship-2075’ on September 10.
“Altogether seven national renowned women’s teams are taking part in the event which is going to take part from 10-12 September”, says Yam Gurung, Senior Vice President of Nepal Volleyball Association.
The Armed police force (APF), Nepal Police Club (NPC), Jaulakhel Volleyball Training Center (JVTC) and Chitwan Tigers are in pole ‘A’ declared by the organizer. Similarly, Shivam New Diamond Academy (SNDA), TOPS Sec. School and Tribhuban Army Club (TAC) are in Pole ‘B’.
Semifinal games will be held on 11th of September and the final will be held on 12th September as announced by the organizer Nava Aadarsha community development society Lamachaur Pokhara.
The winning team will be awarded with a cash prize of rupees one hundred thousand (Rs. 100,000), the runner-up will grab rupees sixty five thousand (Rs. 65000), the third one will be awarded cash prize twenty thousand (Rs. 25000) and the fourth one will get consolation cash prize Rupees fifteen thousand. They will also be awarded with Trophies and Medals.
